Veteran Career Skills
Translate military experience into everyday digital and AI-supported workplace skills, using fictional examples and no private service information.
1. Describe a skill, not a record
Think about a broad skill you practiced, such as planning supplies, organizing shifts, helping teammates, or solving equipment problems. Do not enter a service record, discharge document, or other private data.
2. Practice civilian workplace language
Example only: “I helped coordinate supplies and schedules” can become “I practiced inventory planning and team coordination.” Use your own words and verify every statement in a real résumé.
3. Explore tools and official resources
Try a fictional workplace exercise in the practice area. For information about the GI Bill, Veteran Readiness and Employment (VR&E), or education eligibility, consult the official VA information and a qualified benefits adviser. This learning resource does not determine eligibility.
